ntrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. Established businessmen, after years of running multiple companies, know the difference between entrepreneurs who will succeed, and those who are just ever pledging on being a business owner while being stuck in their 9–5 jobs.

What a large part of the “young entrepreneurs” community misunderstand is that the entrepreneurial success is not always synonymous with material possession. Some aspiring entrepreneurs, openly discuss about the rewards they’re chasing after; while real entrepreneurs consider those things as distractions.

In entrepreneurship, those who are successful do not focus on the ends because they are too busy paying attention to the obstacles in front of them. Once this thinking occurs to the aspiring one, it’s the indicator that he’s turning into a full blown entrepreneur.

If you have big business ideas, and you’re an aspiring entrepreneur who wants to get your career to the level, first look at these 3 signs that tell whether you’re meant for this kind of venture.

#3 Real entrepreneurs aim to be the best, rather than be acknowledged by other people as the best

When entrepreneurs get invited to exclusive mastermind dinners such as those held at The Hills, authentic entrepreneurs stand out. Not because they wear flashy watches, or they have gold chains, or they arrive in fancy sports cars. The most successful people don’t go out of their way to make sure everyone knows what they do, or what they’ve done.

These people only care about the work.

They don’t chase after acknowledgement from others. In fact, most of the time these entrepreneurs go to dinners wearing only jeans and a T-shirt. They don’t brag about their material possessions, or how successful they are, because people already know them because of the work they do.

#2 Real entrepreneurs don’t have weekends off

When you’re so into what you do, you give all your time and energy to it that the days don’t matter anymore. True entrepreneurship demands a great amount of time, and successful people in this field usually lose perspective of what day it is, or even what month it is.

Unlike other people who look forward to every Friday, real entrepreneurs see days as all the same. They think, whether it’s Friday, Sunday or Monday, these are just chunks of time with works needed to be done. Although, entrepreneurs get the freedom to take any day off, building a company gives them a different kind of thinking.

Real entrepreneurs focus on what they build, and they make sure to build it no matter what it takes. Entrepreneurship isn’t easy and requires time, energy, and the deepest commitment.

3 Signs You're Meant for Entrepreneurship

#1 Birds of a feather flock together

Real entrepreneurship means spending time with other real entrepreneurs. Typically, groups of the upper echelon are closed circles. The real players are not easy to find.

However, if you’re good with what you do, these types of people will come to you without you even trying to find them. Focus on becoming the best, and you will find yourself getting invited by these closed groups.

For example, if you are focusing on mastering your skills to become the best online writer, eventually, people will reach out to you. You don’t have to waste time attending networking events, and proving yourself to anyone who’s better than you. You never have to look for Facebook groups of aspiring entrepreneurs to extend your network.

If you work on honing your entrepreneurship skills, you will never have to climb the ladder that way. Your work will speak for you.

Pay attention to your work, and you will receive numerous invitations from people who know your craft, and how you do it.

This isn’t only applicable to entrepreneurship, but in any type of industry. Focus on improving your work, focus on preventing failures, and everything will follow.

You will never have to talk to prove yourself to anyone. Real entrepreneurs know that talk is cheap, so they won’t hear a word you say, anyway.
